ARTICLE X - VICE PRESIDENT
(a) It shall be the duty of the Vice President to assist the President in the discharge of his or her duties.
(b) He or she shall attend all Local meetings of the Local Union.
(c) In case of the absence of the President, the President´s duties shall be performed by the Vice President.
(d) He or she shall be a member ex officio of all committees, except the Election Committee and Counting Committee, but have no vote at the meeting at which he or she presides except in case of a tie.
(e) He or she shall perform such other duties as the Local Union Executive Board may direct, as may be necessary to a proper and effective administration of the Local Union.
