ARTICLE XXXI - REMOVAL FROM OFFICE

(a) Requests for removal from office of any elected member shall require a petition signed by two-thirds of the members within his or her jurisdiction and presented to the Recording Secretary.

(b) The Executive Board shall set the date for a special recall meeting for all the members within the jurisdiction of the office or position, who shall be notified one hundred and sixty (160) hours prior to the special meeting.

(c) The members attending the special meeting shall determine by secret ballot vote the question of removal from office. A two-thirds majority of the members voting shall be required for removal.

(d) A member removed from office by the members within the jurisdiction of that office or considered as having resigned because of failure to attend required meetings shall not be eligible to be a candidate for the vacancy created.
